The Polish Legion of American Veterans (PLAV), founded in 1948, unites veterans of Polish descent. Chartered by Congress in 1984, PLAV advocates for veteran benefits, supports rehabilitation, and provides aid to veteran hospitals. Its mission is patriotic, charitable, and educational, fostering camaraderie and preserving Polish heritage. PLAV's motto is "Unity with Heritage."
