About
The Poore Family Foundation for North Country Conservancy, founded in 1979, operates the Poore Family Homestead Historic Farm Museum in Stewartstown, NH. The foundation's mission is to conserve the spirit, values, & philosophy of life of settlers in the Connecticut River Valley. It supports the community by reinvesting funds and partnering with local high schools. The foundation also has a 70-acre environmental study area and is building a National Byway Visitor Welcoming Center.

The Foundation's mission is to conserve, continue and propagate the traditional spirit, philosophy of living, values, and way of life of the settlers of the headwaters of the Connecticut River Valley.
