Poppy's Special Friends Inc., est. 1990, aids mentally & physically challenged children/adults in daily life. They foster friendships & coping skills via picnics, parties, dances, & fishing. They've built ramps and provided needed items, funded by donations and events like the Annual Spring Dinner Dance.
Mission
Poppy's Special Friends assists mentally and physically challenged children and adults with everyday situations. The Foundation helps these individuals make new friends and increase their coping skills by sponsoring social events.
