The Port Washington Youth Council, established in 1983, enhances the lives of local youth through diverse programs. Their main initiative is The PiT, a teen center offering free, safe, and engaging activities for grades 6-12, seven days a week. The PiT operates from the Landmark building and is supported by the Community Chest of Port Washington and the Town of North Hempstead.
Mission
The Port Washington Youth Council Inc is committed to spreading knowledge, with a particular focus on the youth and the wider public.
