The Ports of Philadelphia Maritime Society, est. 1935, supports the development of the Port of Philadelphia and its maritime community. They offer scholarships to residents of PA, DE, and NJ for maritime education and advancement.
Mission
The Society aids, advances, assists, encourages, promotes, and supports the development of the Ports of the Delaware River & Bay. They also cooperate with other ports to further the American Merchant Marine and promote sociability among those engaged in marine activities in the Ports.
