About
The Portsmouth Area Arts Council, founded in 1972, has served Southern Ohio for over 50 years. It integrates the arts into children's lives through quality programming at the Vern Riffe Center and outreach programs. The PAAC is the parent organization of the Portsmouth Area Children's Theatre (PACT), which provides student actors ages 6-18 a nurturing environment to develop performance skills through camps and productions.
Mission
The Portsmouth Area Arts Council integrates the arts into the lives of children and families and encourages appreciation of the arts and cultural heritage in the region. They have been serving the Southern Ohio region for over 50 years.
