The Preservation Association of the Southern Tier (PAST), founded in 1997, advocates for heritage, educates, and improves civic engagement in Broome and Tioga Counties. PAST offers educational programs, field trip grants for schools, a scholarship program, and organizes tours (house, garden, sacred sites). They host photo contests and preservation awards.
