The New York State PTA, established in 1897, is the first state branch of the National PTA. It serves as a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for education and well-being. The PTA coordinates statewide programs, offers resources, and advocates for children and youth through its regional PTAs. Programs include literacy, arts & reflections, family engagement, safety, health, and mental health initiatives.
