The Pennsylvania PTA, chartered in 1899 as the Pennsylvania Congress of Mothers, is the second oldest PTA in the US. Its mission is to empower families and communities to advocate for all children, ensuring every child's potential becomes a reality. PA PTA engages in various programs such as Poetry Out Loud, Distracted Walking Poster Contest, and Reflections.
