Mentor Programme

Explorations
Explorations are an integral part of the school day. Children use a dedicated space with various materials to explore, discover, and learn through open-ended play and experimentation.
Adventures
Outdoor adventures to nearby farm fields, creeks, and woods provide authentic opportunities for children to connect with nature, observe seasonal changes, and develop a sense of place.
Telling Trays
Children use trays of sand and small objects to recreate activities, tell stories, and invent scenes, with teachers documenting their narratives.
Documentation
Teachers document children's learning and growth through scrapbooks, photos, stories, artwork, and projects, as well as portfolios aligned with Teaching Strategies Gold.
