Junior Sailing Program
An eight-week junior sail training program for ages 6-16, from beginners to advanced racers, in Optimist and Club 420 dinghies.
Regattas and Boating Events
Sponsors boating, social, instructional, and educational events including the annual “Ram Island Regatta” and two junior regattas.

Ram Island Yacht Club, founded in 1941, is a family-oriented association in Noank promoting boating through social, instructional, and educational events. With a strong junior sailing program and volunteer-led activities, RIYC fosters a community centered around a shared love for boating. The club supports sailing, seamanship and offers junior sailing classes to members and non-members.
Mission
Ram Island Yacht Club promotes the enjoyment of boating and related activities through events and maintaining facilities for safe water access. As a volunteer-run association, they attract enthusiastic members and support boating, social, instructional, and educational events for current and future generations.
