Raising a Reader Massachusetts, founded in 2006, closes the literacy opportunity gap for children from birth to age six in under-resourced communities. They help families develop home reading routines to improve literacy skills and prepare children for academic success. RAR-MA gained nonprofit status in 2009 and has expanded across Massachusetts.
