About
Reflections of Manatee, founded in 1997, is a museum in Bradenton, Florida's Curry Houses Historic District. It preserves the Manatee Mineral Springs area and educates about the diverse peoples who used the spring, including Native Americans, the maroon community of Angola, and the first settlers. The museum offers exhibits, guided tours, lectures, internships, and events related to local history.
Mission
Reflections of Manatee inspires people to gain knowledge from the past to build a better future for our community by preserving the landscape, advancing research, and educating the public about Florida's early history.
