Riner Volunteer Rescue Squad, serving the rural community of Riner, VA, began as a substation of Christiansburg Rescue in 2007. It became independent in 2011, expanding its services with additional ambulances and members. In 2020, they moved to a new station, formerly the Riner Volunteer Fire Department. RVRS is dedicated to providing high-quality emergency medical services to the Riner community.
