About
Rochester Japanese School, founded in 1997, is a non-profit providing Japanese language education. It helps short-term students adapt to Japanese schools after returning home and assists long-term/overseas students with their studies. It started in 1988 at Xerox, moved locations, and now offers elementary and junior high programs.
Mission
Rochester Japanese School provides compulsory education instruction in Japanese and offers opportunities to experience Japanese culture. It serves not only Japanese children but also children who are interested in learning the Japanese language and culture.
