About
Rotary International, founded in 1905, is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and leaders who volunteer their skills and resources to solve issues and address community needs. Rotary members champion peace, fight illiteracy and poverty, help people get access to clean water and sanitation, and fight disease. Rotary began its fight against polio in 1979 and continues to work towards eradicating it. They also support youth programs, promote peace, and support education.
Mission
Rotary International provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through a fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. They are people of action, working to make a difference in communities around the world.
