Sacandaga Valley Arts Network (SVAN), founded in 1997, serves the growing arts community in the Sacandaga region of the Adirondacks. A non-profit, SVAN promotes the arts through diverse cultural programming, supports local artists, encourages artists of all ages, and acts as a regional economic catalyst. SVAN organizes 75+ events and workshops annually, including music, theater, visual arts, and skill development programs, improving the quality of life in its communities.
