Founded in 1967, Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council (SWAC) is the first incorporated arts council in Maryland. SWAC enhances community life by fostering arts awareness and education, advocating for funding, and promoting diverse artistic experiences. They offer grants and scholarships, support local arts organizations, provide arts education to youth, and strive to make the arts accessible to all. SWAC enriches the region as a vital cultural center.
