Founded in 1973, the San Clemente Historical Society is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to preserving San Clemente's history. They chronicle events, collect memorabilia, raise funds, and advocate for the preservation of historically significant sites. They have registered 203 Historic Structures, including 22 Historic Landmarks and 5 National Register of Historic Places.
