San Gabriel Mountains Heritage Association, founded in 2014, is dedicated to conservation education. Through an agreement with the U.S. Forest Service, they provide programs for schools, scouts, and families at Forest Service educational facilities. Volunteers also staff visitor information centers and maintain exhibits.

San Gabriel Mountains Heritage Association preserves the historic natural treasure of the San Gabriel Mountains through educational programs for schools, families, and other groups, fostering a lasting bond with nature. They support the Angeles National Forest by staffing visitor centers and maintaining interpretive exhibits.
