San Mateo Garden Center, est. 1972, provides a space to enjoy nature, celebrate events, and share garden knowledge. Opened in 1975, it was built by local garden clubs and the City of San Mateo. Managed by volunteers, it offers educational activities, a garden shop, meeting spaces, and gardens open to the public. It's available for public and private events and promotes community beauty.
