The Santa Monica Police Officers Association Charity, founded in 2006, provides immediate financial assistance to surviving spouses and families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The charity assists with transportation, funeral services, and other specific needs during times of tragedy. They support families of fallen officers throughout California and, in some cases, beyond.
Mission
The SMPOA Charity Fund financially assists police families and addresses specific survivor needs at a time of tragedy involving the death of a police officer. They donate to all police officer families in California whose loved ones have died while in service to their community.
