The Scratching Post, founded in 1990, is a Cincinnati-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill cat shelter and adoption center. They rescue cats and find forever homes for homeless felines. The shelter can house 150 cats and finds homes for about 250 cats annually. They are funded through memberships, donations, and fundraising.
Mission
The Scratching Post is dedicated to rescuing cats and finding forever homes for homeless felines in the community. Since 1990, they have been dedicated to the health, welfare, and comfort of the cats and kittens that come through their door.
