The Sea Lion Project LTD, also known as the Bemus Point Stow Ferry, has been operating since 1811. This historic ferry connects Stow and Bemus Point, NY, offering a shortcut across Chautauqua Lake. Today, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it's run by volunteers, preserving a tangible link to the region's past.
Mission
Operate and maintain the iconic Bemus Point Stow Ferry on Chautauqua Lake. In continuous operation since 1811, this historic service connects generations and communities.
