About
Seafarers Foundation, Inc., founded in 2008, provides scientific and educational programs supporting children, parents/guardians, seniors in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, and Prince Georges County. Their programs include the Summer Youth Program with chess instruction, Sea Scout Ship, Thanksgiving for Seniors, and Community Lectures.
Mission
The Seafarers Foundation prepares African American youth for a better life and aims to contribute to a substantial reduction in the rate of drowning for African American youth through swimming lessons.
