About
The Serbian National Defense Council of America, est. 1914, is a diaspora organization dedicated to protecting Serbs, the Serbian Orthodox Church, and Serbian interests abroad. Founded by Mihajlo Pupin, it initially supported Serbian interests during World War I, raising funds and organizing volunteers. It was re-established in 1941 during World War II to combat anti-Serbian sentiments and provide aid to the Serbian people.
