A play-based program in the Community Room for children to play with toys and interact with others.

Monthly scavenger hunts throughout the library with a chance to win a prize.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
A program encouraging families to read 1000 books to their children before kindergarten to boost early literacy.
Museum Children's Area
A book collection about museums and local history in the museum, plus activity sheets.
Museum Visits
Scheduled museum visits for student groups, including historical movies, guided tours, and scavenger hunts.

Founded in 1991, the Seward Library Foundation is dedicated to enriching our community from our home at 233 S 5th St, Seward, NE. Our mission is to enable and encourage residents to read frequently and diversely, learn continuously and objectively, and connect both locally and globally. We believe in the power of knowledge and community, and we invite everyone to read, learn, and connect at the Seward Library!
