The Shamrock Club of Columbus, founded in 1936, promotes Irish heritage and culture. The Greater Columbus Irish Cultural Foundation was formed in 1989 as the Shamrock Club Cultural Foundation to promote Irish heritage, history and to encourage the awareness and appreciation of Irish culture and traditions. Events include an Irish Music Festival and Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Party.
