The Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band, founded in 1926, is a Chicago institution. Beginning as a fife and drum corps, they switched to bagpipes in 1932 and have been the official pipe band of Chicago since. From parades to performances for presidents and even Pope John Paul II, they bring the passion of Irish music to the city. They support Irish heritage through performances, civic events, and helping those in need.

The Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band carries on Irish heritage in Chicago through their musical performances. They perform in parades, political events, weddings, funerals, and any reason to celebrate.
