Shepherd's Garden Foundation, est. 2010, transformed a blighted site in downtown Sioux City into a Christian-themed public park. Located at 6th and Jackson Streets, the garden provides a peaceful, meditative green space with native plants, offering respite for downtown workers, hospital patients, and the community while promoting Christian values.
Mission
Shepherd's Garden Foundation develops a green space in Sioux City with a Christian-oriented religious theme to facilitate spiritual respite and reflection for those who work downtown, patients of Mercy Medical Center, and anyone in need of restoration.
