The Sheridan Historical Society, established in 1969, operates the Stephenson Family Heritage Center. Located in a former movie theater on Main Street, the museum houses local artifacts, family archives, and records of community events. Managed by volunteers, the society preserves Sheridan's history through exhibits and genealogy resources. Meetings are held monthly and are open to all.
