Shoals Scholar Dollars, founded in 2012, provides scholarships to students in Colbert and Lauderdale Counties, AL, who maintain a C average, good attendance, and have no behavioral incidents. In partnership with the Florence and Greater Shoals Rotary Clubs, it offers a two-year scholarship to Northwest Shoals Community College. The organization aims to give every student the opportunity to pursue education beyond high school, changing the face of the Shoals area.

The Shoals Scholar Dollars Foundation is dedicated to improving the Shoals area by enhancing education and job skills, providing opportunities for students to gain valuable degrees and contribute to the local workforce.
