Simwatachela Sustainable Agricultural and Arts Program (SSAAP), est. 2010, empowers Zambian & Sierra Leonean artisans through fair trade. SSAAP purchases art made from recycled materials, returning profits to African villages. It also spearheads village-based programs promoting clean water and sustainable practices, requiring community involvement to ensure project longevity and self-sufficiency.
Mission
SSAAP's mission is to alleviate starvation by securing sustainable water sources, promoting sustainable agriculture and nutrition, and promoting nonviolent education and empowerment of humans, animals, and the planet.
