The Sippican Woman's Club, established in 1904, is dedicated to social, educational, and humanitarian causes. Originally two groups, they united for intellectual and social improvement. They purchased Handy's Tavern in 1923, a historical building they maintain. The club supports public health, sponsors dental clinics, and provides scholarships to Marion students, funded by events like the Holiday House Tour.
