The Sitka Volunteer Fire Department, founded in 2005, supports the citizens of Sitka and the Sitka Fire Department through daily operations and emergency response. They have Fire, EMS, Dive and SAR (Search and Rescue) Divisions.
Mission
The Sitka Fire Department is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of the community through fire, emergency medical services, and search and rescue. With a commitment to emergency preparedness, the department actively engages in training and volunteer opportunities.
