SLIBCO UTILITIES INC, founded in 1996, historically operated a water infrastructure system in Scranton, PA, leasing it to a non-profit. This system included water lines, pumps, and tanks. In 2021, the infrastructure system was sold. SLIBCO continues to support utility functions within the business parks of an affiliated non-profit.
Mission
SLIBCO is a not-for-profit industrial development corporation, a subsidiary of the Chamber of Commerce, working with The Scranton Plan to assist businesses in Lackawanna County with job creation and retention.
