SmartRiverside, founded in 2000, aims to bridge the digital divide in Riverside, CA. It provides low-income families with free computer training and refurbished computers. Their Digital Inclusion program mentors youth to refurbish computers, collect e-waste, and offer tech support. SmartRiverside's efforts have been recognized globally, contributing to Riverside being named the 'Most Intelligent Community in the World' in 2012.
