The Society for Collegiate Journalists, formed in 1975 through the merger of Pi Delta Epsilon and Alpha Phi Gamma, is the nation's oldest honor society for student media leaders. SCJ advances ethical, accurate, and innovative collegiate journalism nationally and advocates for First Amendment education. They offer contests & awards and build leadership skills.
