Getting Ahead
Offers workshops, a graduate program, bridging seminars & Community Voice for Change, focusing on financial stability for individuals and the community.

St. Dismas Jail Ministry
Meets the spiritual and physical needs of men and women in the Waukesha County Jail and Huber facility through visits and support services.

Back-to-School Program
Provides backpacks, school supplies and a gift card to struggling families to help their children have a good start to the school year.

Meal Program
Partners with the Hope Center to serve a nutritious hot meal Monday evenings to the homeless, indigent, and needy in Waukesha.

Summer Lunch Program
Provides bag lunches and beverages to school-age children and their parents during the summer school vacation at Saratoga Park.

Voucher Program
Provides vouchers for clothing, household items, and furniture to people in need through referrals during home visits.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Waukesha County is a Catholic lay organization dedicated to providing hope and support to those in need. Founded internationally in 1833, the Waukesha District Council has been serving the community for over 64 years. Through its 24 conferences, St. Dismas Jail Ministry, and Getting Ahead mentoring program, they offer various programs like meal programs, back-to-school support, and a voucher program, with over 600 volunteers living their faith in service to others.
Mission
St. Vincent de Paul of Waukesha County is a group of lay Catholic volunteers from all walks of life – neighbors helping neighbors right here in Waukesha County whose outreach has no faith boundary. On a person-to-person basis, members offer help, hope, and encouragement to people in need.
