Supports both EMS and Fire services. Open to individuals 16 years of age and in good standing in their high school.

The Somers Vol Fire Dept Inc, a volunteer fire department, is a community-based educational, fire, and emergency service provider.
Mission
The Somers VFD provides fire protection, emergency medical care, vehicle extrication, underwater rescue, hazardous materials response and pump-outs, to name a few, to serve our community.
