About
South City Theatre, founded in 2007, is an award-winning, non-profit community theatre in Shelby County, AL. A member of multiple theatre conferences, SCT produces six mainstage plays annually and offers youth programs like Acting Up. Originally founded by Alan and Francie Gardner, the theatre moved to Pelham in 2015, tripling attendance. SCT has won "Best in Show" at state festivals and represented Alabama at the Southeastern Theatre Conference multiple times.

South City Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, award-winning community theatre dedicated to promoting theatre in Shelby County, AL. They are a proud member of the Alabama Conference of Theatre, the Southeastern Theatre Conference, and the American Association of Community Theatre.
