About
South Florida HEAT (Home Education Athletic Teams), est. 2004, is a Christian-based, FHSAA-accredited nonprofit offering homeschooled students the opportunity to compete in interscholastic athletics. With over 100 athletes, they participate in various sports, including track and field, volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball, and more. HEAT also engages in community service, impacting the infirmed, underprivileged, and addressing animal overpopulation. Their goal is to be a "home for homeschoolers" athletically, socially, and spiritually.
Mission
SOUTH FLORIDA HEAT fosters growth and opportunity for young people in Ft Lauderdale, creating a positive impact in the local community.
