South Jersey Field of Dreams, founded in 2005, provides a baseball league and recreational facility for physically and mentally disabled children and adults. Absecon resident Barry Hackett created the field so his grandson could play baseball like any other child. The organization gives over 300 players the chance to live a life without limits.
Mission
The South Jersey Field of Dreams provides a place where physically and mentally disabled children and adults can play and participate in baseball, fostering inclusion and joy through the Great American Pastime.
