The Southeast Texas Economic Development Foundation (SETEDF), founded in 1972, promotes regional economic growth in Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties. As a non-profit development company formed in 1984, SETEDF assists small businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing. A Certified Development Company, SETEDF acts as the servicing agent for the U.S. Small Business Administration's 504 Loan Program, aiming to retain and maximize employment while increasing community income.
