The Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum in Carrollton, GA, founded in 2012, is dedicated to promoting and preserving quilting and textile history in the Southeast. Housed in a former cotton warehouse, the museum offers visual exhibitions and educational opportunities to inspire and continue textile traditions. It originated from the Georgia Quilt Project and Council, opening its doors in 2012 with the 'Capitol Collection'.
