About
Founded in 2006, Southern California German Shepherd Rescue (SCGSR) is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. This volunteer-based organization provides veterinary care, spay/neuter services, and places animals, including German Shepherds and other breeds, into loving homes. SCGSR has rescued and placed over 900 animals, focusing on those with illnesses, ensuring they find forever homes.
Mission
SCGSR rescues, rehabilitates, provides spay/neuter and veterinary care, and re-homes pets in Southern California. They specialize in helping ill and unadoptable abandoned pets regain health and places them in caring forever homes.
