The Southern Lancaster County Foundation for Education, also known as Solanco Education Foundation, was founded in 1998 to support academic growth within the Solanco School District. It offers scholarships to graduating seniors, teacher venture grants, and funding for innovative educational programs. Since 2002, the foundation has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships, grants, and educational program funding.
