Southern Ohio Forge & Anvil (SOFA), formed in 1977, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of blacksmithing. As an affiliate of ABANA, SOFA offers classes, workshops, and events, including specialized bladesmithing courses, to educate and engage the community in this historical craft. Their annual Quadstate event is the largest in the area.
