Southern Rhode Island Volunteers, founded in 1982, helps elderly & disabled adults maintain independence through aging & living support services. Programs include Independent Aging Services, Community Volunteers, Disaster Preparedness, & the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). They offer volunteer opportunities for various age groups, supporting individuals, nonprofits & communities in Southern RI.
Mission
Southern Rhode Island Volunteers supports older citizens by providing aging-in-place services for those in need. They also provide meaningful volunteer engagement opportunities and activities that promote and enhance independent living for mature individuals.
