Southwest Youth Ballet Theatre, founded in 2007, inspires dreams and excellence through dance. They offer pre-professional ballet training for ages 13-18, educational outreach, and community programs. Led by artistic director Yen-Li Chen, they provide performance opportunities, including Nutcracker with a live orchestra, and work with choreographers to prepare dancers for professional careers.

Southwest Youth Ballet Theatre is dedicated to the development and advancement of ballet students ages 13-18 who aspire to a professional career in ballet. Their mission is to inspire dreams, participation, community and excellence through the gift of dance.
